About My Work
Each vessel is designed to stand alone as a sculptural piece of art. Vessels that are thrown on a potter's wheel are sometimes embellished with designs from a sprig mold. These thrown pots are reminders of the rich history of Ohio potteries from the past. Hand built vessels are carefully constructed from clay slabs and custom plaster molds. Each P. A. Lowery vessel is one-of-a-kind.
These unique pieces of jewelry are tiny reflections of my love of nature. They are light in weight and unique in design.
Original designs, pressed one at a time, from molds made by the artist. The tiles are decorated with rich, hand-mixed glazes. Each stoneware tile is presented in a custom hardwood frame.
